I voted NO on Trump and Republicans’ spending bill that will make families poorer, sicker & more vulnerable.

We have a healthcare crisis thanks to their Big, Ugly Bill, which ripped away Medicaid from millions & will raise healthcare costs—& this bill does nothing about it.

I won’t be complicit.
The occupant of the White House is coming after our free speech.

He wants to dictate what you can watch, what you can say, & what you can read.

This is a five alarm fire for our First Amendment rights and anyone who cares about our democracy.
Trump’s militarization of DC is not about safety.

It’s about suppressing Black leadership, stopping Black progress & criminalizing Black & brown youth.

If Republicans actually cared about safety, they’d invest in prevention, mental health, & community-based supports that keep people safe. #FreeDC
Republicans are pushing a bill to try 14-year-olds in DC as adults.

This doesn’t make communities safer—it only traumatizes children & perpetuates racism.

Just ask the Exonerated 5.

If they really cared about safety, they’d support trauma-informed solutions & violence prevention programs.
@SecRubio, did you direct Netanyahu to surge aid and baby formula to Gaza?

Because families are desperate and photo ops to do not save lives.

Entire families are being murdered and babies are being starved. My colleagues and I are appealing to you — act NOW.
This ruling affirms what we’ve known: Trump’s attempt to fire Governor Lisa Cook is unlawful.

The courts must preserve the Fed’s independence & rein in Trump’s brazen power grab.

I look forward to Governor Cook participating in tomorrow’s Fed meeting.
