Pressley, Duckworth Renew Push for Paid Leave for Families Experiencing Pregnancy Loss, Investments in Research to Improve Care
We`re all God`s children, and we grieve the loss of every life—regardless of faith or country of origin.
I stood with my colleagues to honor the 15,000+ Palestinians & 1,200 Israelis killed in Gaza & Israel.
Our destinies are tied & we can`t lose sight of our shared humanity.

The bombing in Gaza has resumed & Palestinians are again being indiscriminately killed by Israeli forces.
The pause was a testament to the power of diplomacy: hostages released, aid delivered, & lives saved.
We need a permanent #CeasefireNow.

My mother never read me fairy tales—she read me the words of Shirley Chisholm.
Shirley wanted to be remembered as a Black woman who lived in the 20th century & dared to be herself.
On her 99th birthday, we honor Shirley by leading, legislating & taking up space—just like she taught us.

High wait times, false information, egregiously wrong billing amounts, and so much more.
As we fight to #CancelStudentDebt, we must hold student loan servicers accountable for their incompetence.
That’s why the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau’s work is more critical than ever before.

Excited for my dear friend & Massachusetts colleague @RepLoriTrahan to serve as Co-Chair of @HouseDPCC.
She leads with kindness & is an exemplary leader, effective messenger, & coalition builder.
I was proud to support her candidacy & can think of no one better for the role.

Republicans are choosing homophobia over housing & cruelty over compassion.
They stripped federal funding for The Pryde, an affordable housing project for LGBTQ seniors in the #MA7.
But I’ll never stop fighting for our LGBTQ siblings & to get this funding over the finish line.

Childcare is essential & we must make it a reality for all family models.
So proud to celebrate the opening of Kiddie’s Corner, a new center in Boston that supports folks with non-traditional working hours.
Truly a full-circle moment & I thank everyone who made this possible.

This Thanksgiving, I`m holding space for the tragedies abroad & the hardship here at home.
From Massachusetts to the Middle East, let`s be grateful for the privileges we have while remembering & supporting those in need.
Another world is possible, if only we work for it.

Everyone touched by homicide deserves dignity, recognition, & compassion.
Proud to join @PeaceInstitute, leaders & advocates to kick off Survivors of Homicide Victims Awareness Month in Massachusetts.
We must continue centering our survivors & setting them on a path to healing.
