Pressley, Lee, Garcia Introduce Equality in Our Laws Act
Grateful to the Massachusetts Executive Office of Veterans Affairs for hosting an incredible evening to celebrate the contributions of our Black servicemembers. From the American Revolution to modern era conflicts, Black folks have bled and sacrificed for our nation, & we must honor them both during & after their service.
Republicans have no business being in anyone’s family business. We won’t let them dictate when, how and whether we grow our families.
@SeeRoxburyCC has played a pivotal role in preparing students of any age or background to be life-long learners & stewards of our communities’ legacy. It was an honor to attend their 50th Anniversary of excellence & to be their partner in our collective pursuit of education access.
House Oversight has historically been a venue for making sure government works for the people. But with Republicans playing political games, I look forward to working with @OversightDems & @RepRaskin to center the people & spotlight the issues folks in the #MA7 care about.
Black staff matter. As we close #BlackHistoryMonth, I’m honored to highlight a few members of my staff who are making Black history every day.I’m grateful for their indispensable partnership, brilliance, and dedication to serving the people of the Massachusetts 7th.
A child is killed every 15 minutes in Gaza. When will this cruelty end?We cannot look away while the Israeli govt plans its unconscionable invasion of Rafah, the last designated safe zone in Gaza.We cannot bomb our way to peace, and we must have a #CeasefireNOW.
TY @MissionGrammarSchool for inviting me for #BlackHistoryMonth to discuss my journey as your Congresswoman. Our students are our future, and I can’t wait to see all the incredible work you’ll do to build a better Massachusetts and country.
The @HouseGOP can’t govern, so our country is yet again on the brink of a Republican government shutdown. While they play cruel games that hurt our most vulnerable, Democrats will continue standing with the people.
Over the last year, @foodforfreeorg has distributed 7.5 million pounds of food to 27 communities in Massachusetts.Community-led efforts like these are essential to our Work to dismantle food insecurity in America, and I am so grateful to Food For Free for their partnership.
