Congresswoman Pressley’s Statement on the Redacted Mueller Report

WASHINGTON  – In response to the release of the heavily redacted version of Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s report, Congresswoman Ayanna Pressley (MA-07) released the following statement:

“The American people deserve a government that puts their best interests ahead of Donald Trump’s ego. Today’s report provides further evidence of the need for robust and effective oversight and investigations into the actions of this Administration and definitively does not clear the occupant of the White House of obstruction. Redactions can’t hide that AG Barr has failed to act as a neutral arbiter of justice and instead is acting out of loyalty to a man who has a track record of corruption and abuse of power. It’s time for Special Counsel Mueller to come testify before Congress. We will use every tool we have to keep our nation safe and hold this White House accountable.”
