Rep. Ayanna Pressley to Join Locals Protesting Against Trump’s Illegal Fake Emergency on Presidents’ Day

CAMBRIDGE, MA — On Feb. 18 at 1 p.m. ET, Congresswoman Ayanna Pressley (MA-07) will join local leaders, advocates, and activists to hold a “Presidents Day Protest to Fight Trump’s Fake Crisis and Racist Deportation Forces” protest at the Harvard Square Subway Newstand Kiosk in response to Donald Trump declaring a national emergency in an attempt to further his racist agenda and ramp up his deportation force.

“I am proud to stand in solidarity against this administration’s racist, xenophobic and hateful agenda,” said Congresswoman Ayanna Pressley (MA-07). “My fellow residents of the Massachusetts 7th know that our diversity is our strength and together we can both reject hate and chart a bold progressive path forward.”

Activists will demand that Congress immediately take action to overrule Trump’s emergency declaration and rein in Trump’s deportation force and humanitarian abuses by ICE and CBP.
